Bo Boxer's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Bo!

Bo is a handsome 1-year-old Boxer/Redbone Coonhound mix weighing about 50 pounds, and he's ready to find a family to call his own!
This sweet, loyal boy loves being with his people and forms strong bonds with those he trusts. Whether you're heading out for a hike, taking a long walk, or just relaxing at home, Bo is happiest by your side. He walks well on a leash and would make an amazing adventure buddy for an active family committed to giving him the daily exercise he needs.
Bo is house-trained and does well when left home alone, as long as he isn't crated. While crates aren't his favorite, he's non-destructive and settles in nicely outside of one. Because he loves his people so much, he can be a little anxious when separated, so he'll thrive in a home that can continue building his confidence and provide him with plenty of companionship.
Bo enjoys other dogs a little too much! While he is dog-friendly, his enthusiasm can be overwhelming. At this time, he do best as the only dog in the home where he can soak up all the attention. He is not a good fit for a home with cats. Due to his energetic, bouncy personality, he'd also do best with older, dog-savvy children who can keep up with his playful spirit.
If you're looking for a loyal best friend with a heart full of love, a zest for adventure, and endless devotion to his people, Bo just might be your perfect match.
Bo's Highlights:
Bo is ready to give his whole heart to the family willing to give him the love, exercise, and stability he deserves.
