Meet Blues

If you are interested in any of our dogs, please email us directly and please do not use the petfinder link. It does not include your email address in the reply to and I can't always copy and paste it from my phone. But I can if you email us from your email account. Thank you!!!

Jazz is a small male schnauzer probably a mix.  He and his brother were dumped by the owners in a remote part of Maricopa County but near a home along with five chihuahuas. They were not injured but they were in need of help.  Valley of the Sun was contacted and we agreed to take them into rescue.  Jazz is very small and very sweet.  He weighs about 10-12 lb.  Sometimes his big brother Blues picks on him.  Both boys are 2-3 years old.  They just went into a foster home and as we learn more about them, we will post it.  Both boys were doing fine living with a female giant schnauzer.
Jazz's adoption fee is $225.  If you are interested in this boy, please email us Applications in the immediate area are given preference and you need to be within driving distance to come and pick up a dog. We do not ship our dogs. When you adopt a dog from us and for some reason it doesn't work, the dog be returned to VSGSR and a full refund is given with in the first thirty days. Any dog adopted from us at any time comes back to Valley of the Sun Giant Schnauzer Rescue if the adopter can not keep the dog. We are responsible for our dogs for their lifetime. And we hope our adopters are also. Each dog will have been neutered, had full panel blood tests done, been microchipped and up to date on all of his shots. We do prefer that you be within driving distance of Phoenix to adopt one of our dogs. If the adoption doesn't work out for some reason with in the first thirty days, the adoption fee is refunded upon return of the dog. Our contract states that during the life of the dog, should something happen that you can not keep any of our dogs, the dog must be returned to VSGSR. Should a family member wish to adopt the dog, they would be given first priority. We are responsible for our dogs for their entire life. If interested, please email us at for more information. Emailing is the best way to contact us as we are all volunteers.
