Meet Blaze
This adorable little guy is named Blaze. He is one of the “brindle babies,” that Purple PAWS pulled out of a high-kill shelter when he and his litter mates were scheduled for euthanasia at only a day old.
Blaze is now 6 weeks old. He is a friendly, playful puppy and is the biggest snuggle bug out of his litter. He is always looking for a lap to crawl on for snuggles and pets. He’s not house trained yet, but is doing pretty well using potty pads already.
Blaze is a mixed breed. His mama is a pit mix and his dad is unknown, but we wonder if he has some kind of mountain dog in him because of his rear dewclaws. Blaze’s foster mom thinks he will be around 50 lbs when full grown.
Blaze will be ready to bring lots of snuggles and love to his new family after he is neutered and vaccinated. If you’d like to welcome this cutie into your home, please fill out an application at purple-paws.org. The adoption fee is $200, which helps to cover his medical expenses.
