Meet Blackie
Story:
Blackie and her siblings were rescued from Devore in San Bernardino, CA. A volunteer was driving through Cajon Blvd and she saw them through the fence of an old house. Our volunteer stopped and found a lady with the puppies, their mom, and a lot of roasters roaming the yard. Our volunteer started talking to the lady about spaying her dogs and offered the help from the rescue. The lady agreed to surrender the puppies to the rescue and she agreed to allow the rescue to get her dog spayed. The spay operation was scheduled for the mom while the puppies were transported to a foster. In the first few days, the puppies had diarrhea and they were discovered to have coccidia and tape worms. The puppies were put under medication. Coccidia took weeks to clear as it was sever. Luckily, the puppies were treated and they now have solid and healthy stool. During their stay at the foster, the puppies received up-to-date shots of vaccines and they also received strong flea and tick prevention medication. The puppies are now healthy and ready for a forever home.
The puppies are not spayed/neutered yet since they did not reach the age of sterility yet. The adopter must agree to spay/neuter the dog when they become of age as per our sterility agreement.
Behavioral-wise, the puppies are super playful and smart. They are fast to learn and they are good with kids, people and other dogs.
