Biscuit - DNA results are in's Story

Biscuit is a young, sweet boy currently about 5-6 months old and weighing approximately 45-50 lbs. One of his siblings had a DNA test completed, which came back as 33% Border Collie, 33% Australian Cattle Dog, 25% Australian Shepherd, and the remaining percentage Great Pyrenees. While Biscuit himself has not been DNA tested, the results give us a good indication of the breeds present in his litter. We expect him to mature into a medium-large sized dog.

Biscuit has been thriving in foster care and is learning all the things a young puppy needs to know. He has done wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and children and is making good progress with house training, crate training, leash walking, and using a doggy door.

Biscuit has moderate to higher energy and would love another dog in his forever home. He enjoys playing with other dogs, learns from them, and really seems to enjoy having a canine companion around. He wants to please both his people and his dog friends and is very receptive to the dogs around him.

He is especially wonderful with smaller dogs. Biscuit is gentle and playful and will happily flop over and let the little dogs “win” when they are wrestling and playing. He has a very kind, easygoing nature with other dogs and seems to understand when to tone things down.

Biscuit also loves spending time outside, especially lounging in the yard and watching everything happening around him. If someone is approaching, he will give a nice alert to let you know, do a quick investigation, and then settle back down to watch what is going on. He is curious and observant without needing to turn every little thing into a big event.

Despite his playful side, Biscuit is also happy to pick up a toy and lounge around. He has a nice balance of independence and wanting to interact with his people and other animals. He is a sweet, gentle puppy with a kind soul who enjoys being part of the household and learning from the people and dogs around him.

Biscuit is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, including 4 DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies, dewormed, current on preventatives, has a negative fecal test, and has received veterinary health clearance.

Application:
https://airtable.com/appklteyg5w2e0fmu/shrY8RxQc1KxQYCuv

We welcome applications from PA, NY, MA, ME, NH, CT, NJ, DE, MD, DC, OH, MI, IL, WV, and VA. Additional locations may be considered. Approved adopters must be willing to travel to Delaware County, PA to meet and adopt their puppy.

Fostered in Glenolden, PA 19036
KL#19083

Out of state adoptions are ALLOWED. We currently adopt to homes located in PA, NY, MD, DE, NJ, MA, CT, RI, OH, NH, OR, WA, SC, and FL. We will also adopt to homes located within 200-250 miles from Amarillo, TX 79101, and may make exceptions on a case-by-case basis for longer distances or other states. Potential adopter must provide basic care for the life of the animal. An adoption contract must be thoroughly read, completed, and signed by the adopter before the adoption is complete. The adoption process could range anywhere from a few hours, up to a week. We do NOT hold dogs/puppies.
