BERNIE's Story

Meet Bernie 🐾 — Scruffy, Sweet, and Full of Heart

Bernie is an adorable young Bernedoodle (about 1.5 years old), around 50 pounds, with the cutest curly, slightly shaggy coat and the most soulful, warm eyes. (And yes—that big nose is always busy sniffing and exploring.)

He’s a super sweet, affectionate guy who absolutely loves people. Loyal, loving, and friendly, Bernie has that special “grateful rescue dog” energy—he just wants to be near you and be part of your life. Bernie is smart and his sense of smell is amazing!

Bernie is playful and fun—he loves walks, toys, balls, and even the beach (a recent favorite!). He’s curious, a little goofy, and guaranteed to make you laugh. He gets along well with other dogs and especially enjoys the company of female dogs.
Still young and full of life, Bernie is truly a fantastic dog with so much love to give.

Bernie was recently rescued from the shelter and is already showing what a great companion he is. He’s fully vetted, groomed, and prepared for his next chapter—a real forever home where he can settle in and shine.

He is healthy, vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. Bernie is fostering with a family in the Hollywood area. If you’d like to meet Bernie, please text Jennifer at 323-893-3584 and tell us a bit about yourself, your home life, and what you’re looking for in a dog companion.

Thank you for rescuing—Bernie is ready to make someone very happy 🐶💛
B
