Bernie's Story

My name is Bernie!
I'm an approximately 16 month old, 60 pound Bernedoodle.
I don't mean to brag but everyone who meets me admires my zebra stripes. In addition they tell me I am gorgeous!
Nobody believes I was once in the shelter and in poor shape!
(See last pic when I was rescued)
My foster mommy tells me that I am one of the sweetest and most loving girls she has ever met. I'm looking for an active family to take me out to play. I love playing ball, fetch, and taking part in games with my foster doggie brothers and sisters and human family. I am an active, yet go with the flow girl. I love going with my foster family to restaurants and the ball field where I get lots of attention. Wherever I go, I have an audience of people of all ages wanting to pet me and show me love.
My favorite part of the day is belly rub time!
Since exiting the shelter I am doing amazing with potty training. It is very helpful that I am let out often and also walked on a leash. A routine is helpful but there are times I still use pee pads.
Since I am young and still learning, I hope to find a loving, committed and patient family with another dog.
Since I have been in my foster home I have loved being around children and people of all ages. Due to my size I would do best with more mature children. I am currently in a home with several small dogs and love all of them. I feel like I am a small dog trapped in a little body!
I currently weigh approximately 60 pounds. I am spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, recently vet checked and my labs were completed.

If you have lots of love to give and want lots of puppy love and kisses in return, I am your girl!

If you live in San Diego County and would like more information or to complete our application-
Call or text: (619) 913-7361
Email: inthenoe@icloud.com
