Benny is approximately 7 months old, 26 lb currently, and he is likely a Bassett Hound He was surrendered due to his owner not having time for him. In his foster home, he is working hard on his house training, crate training and leash walking. He could join households with kids 10+, and other dogs. He has not been exposed to cats.<br/><br/>His foster says, "Benny, the basset hound, is proof that you can have the heart of a gentleman, ears of a superhero, and the spatial awareness of a bull in a china shop wearing roller skates. Benny is a delightful pup who approaches every room like he is leading a SWAT raid, then looks genuinely baffled when chairs, pillows, and innocent bystanders end up in his wake. Benny has never met a stranger. He loves and wants pets and playtime from everyone he meets."<br/><br/>He is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on July 17th or possibly earlier.
