Benji (Shorkie)

Meet Benji! He is a Yorkie-Shih Tzu mix, weighing 8 lbs and 4 months old (he should be around 14 lbs full grown). He is currently in a private foster home. **Please note that adoption applications must be submitted and approved before a meet-and-greet can be arranged.<br/>Benji has been socialized around cats, small dogs, and toddlers. He is an incredibly sweet puppy who loves being outdoors with his people. While he isn't particularly interested in squirrels or birds, he does love to "attack" the garden hose when it slithers by! He is a lap dog who loves being held and he also loves to "sploot" to stretch out on his belly and back.<br/>He’s a big fan of rolling around outside with a small kickball—he is absolutely hilarious to watch! He plays well with cats and loves doing his "big bear" impression by standing on his hind legs with his paws in the air. He is crate trained and very close to being fully pad trained.<br/>Because of his Yorkie-Shih Tzu coat, his shedding is extremely minimal, but he will require daily brushing and frequent professional grooming.
