Ben's Story
Ben has had it pretty rough. Thrown away, unwanted, and heartworm positive. Thankfully he was taken into rescue updated on his vetting and heartworm treated. The rescue thought they found him a great home, however they did not listen to the advice given to help him adjust to a new home, resulting in him escaping from them within an hour.
Once safe back with the rescue it was decided he would have a better shot up with us. He is a true small dog, big personality in a small package. Once he bonds with you he is your shadow, he craves love and affection. However he is very timid with new people, he needs a home with no children, low traffic (people coming in and out) and someone that will give him the time and effort to let him bond with them.
He is currently in a foster home and it only too him 2 days to realize he's safe there. Hes good with the other dogs and isn't sure what to makenof the cats.
