Furry Angels Rescue
Our Mission
Furry Angels Rescue is a small network of people trying to make a difference in the lives we touch. We mostly pull from high risk shelters (both in state and out of state), where pets risk euthanasia due to overcrowded shelters. We do occasionally take owner surrenders when asked to help. We rescue & adopt out dogs/puppies, cats/kittens, & many other creatures.
Our adoption process is fairly easy, first you email us about an animal your interested in. We will send you more information (if we can provide any or if you have any questions) and an adoption application. Once we receive the application back we read it immediately, and call any and all references asap.
Once approved, we will contact you to make an appointment for you to meet the potential new pet.
If you come meet the pet and it doesn't work out, then no hard feelings, we'll be happy to help you look for one. But if it is a match it's a great day for us and for the animal.
PLEASE NOTE: We do NOT have a shelter or place of business; we have private people that foster our pets. Once the application process has been completed we will set up a meeting for adopter & pet to meet.
Adoption Policy
Please let me state that ALL animals will have appropriate vetting for their age and all canines and felines will be altered before going to their new homes.
If there are current pets in the home they must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines.
While we do not require you to own you home we do need to see that you are permitted to have pets if you rent. We also do not require a fenced yard, but must see that adequate exercise will be provided.
We do not discriminate against young children in the home, however if the pet you are interested in is not suitable for a home with young children, we will recommend a better fit.
