Belle's Story

Age: 3-4 years Weight: 32 pounds Adoption donation: $699

Belle is a playful bundle of love who is estimated to be around three to four years old. She loves to run around, explore and snuggle. Typical of a hound, she loves to sniff and follow her nose.
Belle was found all alone on one of the coldest nights in a rural part of Tennessee this past January, standing by the side of the road, shaking. She hit the jackpot when a good Samaritan took her in and gave her the love and the attention this sweet girl deserves.
Belle is very affectionate and bonds strongly to her people. She gets along great with other dogs, she just loves to play.
Belle has been spayed and is fully vaccinated. She was found to have a light case of heartworm for which she is currently being treated. Her vet expects her to be completely healthy and heartworm free in a few months.
We are looking for someone willing to either adopt Belle or take her as a foster to adopt and continue her treatment, which at this point is just the monthly heartworm pills.
Belle’s adoption fee includes the transport from Tennessee, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter. In the case of Belle her medical expenses for the heartworm treatment have far exceeded her adoption donation.
For more information on adopting Belle please email mariaeftimiades@yahoo.com
