Meet Bellami
LOCATION: Flint, Texas
DOB: 12/27/2021 (Estimate)
We’ve got sweet girl, Bellami, and she is an absolute doll. She is goofy, playful, sweet, active, affectionate and friendly.
She is super smart and her foster family is working on basic commands with her. And just like most young pups, she has a stubborn side with her training. But her sweetness and eager to please side always wins out. There’s just too much of it not to!!
She walks great on a leash (loves to go on walks), is house trained and kennel trained (for short periods of time).
Miss Bellami does love to sleep in bed with her humans and she is a cuddlebug, wanting to be as close as possible to her best human friends.
Given her size and playfulness and big ol paws, a home with other dogs around her size would be ideal, but is not a requirement. She has gotten along great with all dogs.
Her foster home does have a cat and she has only tried to smell her. Her foster mom thinks she would be fine in the home with a cat as long as its a mellow and chill one.
Kids!!! Bellami shines in this area. Her current BFF is a 5 year old little human. Isn’t that adorable? Bellami loves having ropes and balls tossed her way and each morning Bellami is so happy to see her little friend she runs over and fills her face with wet kisses. A place where people are home a lot would be great as cutie pie, Bellami, can get a little anxious when she’s on her own. And she can be a little shy when meeting new people.
If you are going on an errand-run, Bellami would LOVE to go with you! Car rides are great! If you want to stop at the pet supply store and go in together and pick out toys–even better!
Her new home will need a fenced yard. If she isn’t playing, she enjoys laying in the warm sun and soaking up the sunshine, watching the squirrels go by. Sounds like a lovely way to spend an afternoon.
According to her foster mom, Bellami has 2 dislikes.
1)–when her humans leave
2)–if mom is late on feeding time.
Bellami is a dream. She has all the makings of a fantastic family dog. Wouldn’t you love to have a Bellami in your life?
