Bella - In a Foster Home Yellow Labrador Retriever Mix Marrero, LA

Bella was originally adopted from another shelter, but surrendered in early July, citing "chewing up things." Surrender excuses such as these are often discovered to be unfounded or untruths at worse and simply a matter of the dog being ignored, at best. Bella has the hallmarks of a family dog in the making and at her young age,will flourish with guidance and loving discipline. In fact, she went onan overnight with a nice lady, whose senior dog promptly let her know that she wanted to be an only dog. The lady liked Bella a lot, and was sure to clarify that Bella was not the issue. Sweet Bella is an affectionate, active, and playful girl that has become a favorite of the volunteers who walk her. She would be a wonderful addition to a home with a family who enjoys outings with their dog or anyone looking for a walking companion. Bella is a petite 46 lbs, on the smaller side for a Labrador mix and though she was reported as 4 yrs old, her assessment at the shelter suggests she is closer to 2 yrs.

Bella is current on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. She has tested negative for heartworms. Bella will need to remain on monthly heartworm preventative to ensure he remains protected from deadly heartworm disease.

Adoption fee is $67.
