Bella arrived as an owner surrender on Mother's Day, May 10th, thanks to a kind volunteer picking her up<br/><br/>Bella went to her foster home after her spay on Thursday may 14th and fit in very quickly<br/><br/>She also had her vaccines, microchip, heartworm testing and was given parasite prevention <br/><br/>She is a pup at heart despite being 2.5 years old <br/><br/>She is good with other dogs and was raised with kids age 3 and up<br/><br/>Her parents were a rough collie and a retriever<br/><br/>She is just under 50 lbs <br/><br/>Her owner's home is being demolished on May 20th and they had asked to place her before being without a home<br/><br/>Bella is doing well with being crate trained despite the crate being broken at the former home<br/><br/>She does know some commands such as "sit, lay down, shake a paw, high fives, and don't pull" despite her leash being broken on intake <br/><br/>It does take her a bit to calm down when meeting new people - she will mouth some people's hands like a puppy <br/><br/>Once she gets her bearings to be able to listen she is good<br/><br/>She had pups last October when she was only a pup herself<br/><br/>She wasn't really alone much so she loves being alongside people and being part of the activities<br/><br/>She is a talker at times - likely begging to be a part of everything possible<br/><br/>In time she will come to learn about just being part of a family calmly<br/><br/>She rode with 7 other dogs on Thursday while crated and did well<br/><br/>We are happy we were able to intake and vet this girl - special thanks to all our foster homes that take in these animals to give them a second chance
