Bella's Story
Meet Bella! This 4-year-old Frenchie is enjoying a fresh new start at life after surviving a tough series of events. Bella was surrendered to Chicago Animal Care & Control emaciated, unable to walk, and was listed for euthanasia. Just hours before her euthanasia deadline, a foster home helped us save Bella to become a Tails Together pet and get her the help she needed.

Bella seems to have been missing out on love for a while. She was starving for food, looks to have given birth recently, and had open wounds on her back legs from dragging them around.

Since moving to a foster home, Bella has been eating wonderfully, her wounds are healing great, and she's getting lots of practice on a brand new set of wheels while she works on building strength on her back legs, which she is trying to regain some use of. Her heart is healing too, and every day more of her personality emerges - she loves yak chews and bones to keep herself occupied. She seems to have never had toys, but her foster sibling is teaching her all the ways of being a beloved family dog.

Bella is available for foster-to-adopt for families local to Evanston/Chicago!
TO INQUIRE: Fill out an adoption application at https://tailstogether.my.site.com/application/
