Our Mission
Tails Together Co. strengthens animal welfare in Chicago and the North Shore by connecting animals, organizations, and communities through collaboration, compassionate care, and accessible education.
As both a rescue organization and a support partner, we work alongside Animal Care and Control and fellow rescues to expand lifesaving capacity, promote fear-free practices, and create inclusive, judgment-free pathways for people to engage in animal welfare.
Adoption Policy
Animal welfare education, rescue involvement, and support should be approachable and inclusive. We strive to reduce barriers to learning and participation for families, first-time adopters, and anyone curious about helping animals. Tails Together uses a matchmaking adoption model to help families find a pet that best fits their family, home environment, and lifestyle.
