Bella White German Shepherd & Terrier Mix Phoenix, AZ

Where to begin with Bella. We first stumbled across Bella back in December. Bella was walking down the street, having recently given birth to puppies. Volunteers followed Bella back into a yard that was filled with filth and her puppies. Over the months, we worked with the family, offering spay/neuter services, bringing doggie beds, dog food, etc. Out of the blue, we received a call from the owner asking us if we would take Bella. Bella kept cutting herself on the wire fence that wrapped around the property. She was causing more problems than she was worth. Bella has been with us for many months now. She is a wonderful, loving dog. She gets along with all dogs and warms up to people quickly. However, Bella is still a work in progress. Her prior life, she was left to fend for herself and was extremely timid. She was always in survival mode, not living. Today Bella is still timid, but she does come out of her shell. She loves dogs! Not only is Bella beautiful, she is the kindest, sweetest pooch you will ever meet. Bella will need a family that understands her past and takes it one day at a time. We STRONGLY recommend that Bella goes to a home that has another dog and has access to a yard! We have noticed that dogs have been a big help with her insecurities. Bella is young, not even two years old, and her best days are ahead of her. If you are a patient, understanding and an animal lover, please consider Bella as your companion.
