Meet Bella (FORMERLY ROXY)

BELLA WAS RECENTLY SURRENDERED BACK TO THE SHELTER. UNFORTUNATELY ONE OF HER HUMANS FELL ILL. SHE HAD BEEN IN HER NEW HOME AINCE JULY 2022. THE PHOTOS OF HER IN THE SWEATER ARE TODAY. THE OTHERS ARE FROM JULY 2022

Roxy is a 1 (now 2 year old) year old boxer mix from South Carolina. Roxy was seized from her owners due to improper care. She was tethered outside everyday all day without proper shelter food and water . They owner tried to get her back but refused to change her living conditions. Roxy is on to bigger and better things and a life that she deserved. Roxy is shy at first. Her foster said it took her about a day to fully warm up. She is not aggressive in any way. Humans have just done her wrong in the short time she’s been on this earth. Roxy would benefit from having a confident and outgoing pup in her new home to help her open up faster. Roxy also does well with cats and would do best in a home with children 6 and up. Toddlers may spook her to much in the beginning. Roxy weighs 44lbs.

BELLA (FKA Roxy ) is still a timid girl and needs to gain her confidence back again. But if you sit on the floor in a nice quiet area with her, she will be in your lap in no time. She loves to be with her humans and trusts pretty easily concerning what’s she’s been through. Bella would benefit from a confident, dog savvy dog in her new home. She would also do best at this point with kids 10 and up. Please share this adorable pouty lip to all your friends and family! She is ready to be out of the shelter and in a nice, relaxing home!
