Meet Bella
Eleven year old Bella is on the look out for a special home. She was found in the middle of the desert along the freeway South Utah. She was in pretty rough shape and had clearly been left to die in the hot Utah sun. Bella has been with an amazing foster home in St. George since then and has made a miraculous transformation.
Bella has been nursed back to health but will need a family that will continue to work with some behavioral issues. We don't know a thing about her life prior to being dumped in the desert, but we are sure that living in the middle of nowhere and having to fend for herself provided her with a great environment to perfect her resource guarding. Bella should be in a home where she is the ONLY dog. She is not good with sharing her food or attention with any others. And even though she is an older lady with fewer teeth than most, she is fast and furious when it comes to defending those things that are important to her.
Bella is very, very loyal and eager to please. Her foster family continues to work with her to help her learn boundaries and that she doesn't have to be in charge. She is housebroken and fit as a fiddle. She just really needs a retirement home where she can relax and not feel the need to boss anyone around. Could your home be the one?
Bella is being fostered in Hurricane, UT. Her adoption fee is $150. Applications to adopt can be found at www.pugpals.org.
