Hi everyone, it’s me — Beatrix! <br/>They call me a bull in a china shop, and honestly... they’re not wrong . I’m a 4-year-old brindle beauty — part English Bulldog, part Frenchie, and 100% goofball. I weigh about 35 pounds of pure love and squish, and I’m convinced I’m a 5-pound lap dog. If there’s a cuddle to be had, I’m your girl.<br/>Personality & Quirks<br/>I’m sweet, silly, and sometimes a little clumsy. I’ll leap onto the bed, miss, and fall off — then pretend I meant to do that. I’ll walk right into you, flop across your chest like a weighted blanket, or occasionally forget that side tables aren’t part of the couch. My foster mom says I’m “a big love bug with no spatial awareness,” and I take that as a compliment!<br/>Life at Home<br/>I love going on walks and do amazing on a leash — When I see other dogs I pull, I am learning how to be friendly. I was found with a Doberman (hmm wonder how he is doing) If it’s just us, I stay right by your side like the perfect walking buddy. I’m still working on potty training — I’m not totally sure yet that the grass is for bathroom breaks, but we’re practicing a lot, and I get SO excited when I get it right! I’m also learning that the front door isn’t an open invitation to explore the world (though I do love adventures).<br/>Because of my powerful jumps (I once cleared a dining table — don’t worry, I retired from that sport), I’d do best in a home with adults or older kids who can handle my energy. I’m super gentle and sweet with my foster family’s son though — I adore him and soak up all his attention.<br/>Food & Manners<br/>I’m a grazer when it comes to food — I like to nibble throughout the day. If I accidentally snag a snack off your plate (oops!), I’ll trade for a bone like a good girl. I’m not mean about it — just momentarily forgetful that human snacks aren’t for bulldog bandits.<br/>Health & Care<br/>I came into rescue needing a little TLC, but I’ve made huge progress! My cough is gone, my ear infection is healing beautifully after daily drops and cleanings, and my tail pocket wound is all healed up. I do have allergies, so I take a daily Zyrtec to help me feel my best, I might have to move onto an allergy meds to get on track. I’m feeling so much better and ready to continue my glow-up in my foster home!<br/> My Perfect Match<br/>I’m looking for a family who loves big personalities and even bigger cuddles. Someone who will keep helping me learn the ropes, celebrate my wins (especially potty ones!), and laugh at my goofy bulldog antics.
