Bear's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.BEAR is available!

Bear is a very sweet and playful 5-&-1/2-year-old neutered male Goldendoodle. Bear became anxious in his original ham when the family dynamics changed and his favorite person was no longer available; he has been licking his front legs as a result and he is currently on anxiety meds because of that.

Bear did not live with another dog, but he has developed a friendly relationship with another Doodle that is currently in the same boarding situation.

Bear LOVES all kinds of toys - especially the stuffy kinds. He will invite you to throw them over and over and will go fetch them. He would benefit from someone to give him that kind of exercise because he is just a little overweight.

Bear is quick to warm up to people and will be a great companion to just about anyone except young children. He does love teenagers, adults and other dogs.

If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other available AGR dogs, and want to know more about the process, please click here. Arizona Golden Rescue's Adoption Policy
WE DO NOT ADOPT OUTSIDE OF THE STATE OF ARIZONA. If you are interested in adopting from Arizona Golden Rescue, please visit our webpage at http://www.arizonagoldenrescue.org/ and complete an Online Adoption Application to begin the process, or send an e-mail to info@arizonagoldenrescue.org if you have questions and wish to be contacted. Please note: it is the policy of AGR not to place a dog under 3 years of age or a shelter dog with a family that has children under 3 years of age. Once we receive your application, a home visit will be scheduled. When your home visit is approved, you will be placed on our waiting list. Our sole purpose is to find the perfect home for the dog as the dog always comes first. Prior to adoption, all AGR dogs are given a full vet exam, including valley fever and heartworm tests, brought up to date on all vaccinations, given a microchip, neutered or spayed, and treated for any medical problems.
