Bear's Story

Bear and his offspring, Puppercino are just two that came from a home with an owner who had good intentions but ended up with too many dogs to care for. Bear is an outgoing 8 year old — some sort of shepherd mix (the cute kind!) — who does well on leash, though it is a relatively new thing for him. Having lived with so many animals, Bear gets along with dogs, cats, and even livestock. He knows "sit" and "stand pretty". He is comfortable with farm life but could easily transition to long walks while enjoying city living — hopefully his next stop in his life.

You can visit the dogs from noon - 3 pm Saturdays and Sundays, otherwise by appointment. We always recommend submitting an application (and a copy of recent vet records for your current pets if applicable) to info@aradopt.org.

Link to application: https://www.angelridgeanimalrescue.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Dog-Application.pdf
