Bean's Story

Bean is a one year old grey schnoodle who flew in from Texas to find his forever loving home. He loves people attention and is very social with people and the large dogs in his foster home, although he can be a bit territorial with food and toys. He gets to go to work every day with his foster Mom and has become quite the social butterfly! He also enjoys going outside and checking out all the interesting smells. We think he would do best in an adult home with a fenced in backyard and he would love an owner who is retired or who works from home so that he has lots of people attention.

He has a previously broken right rear leg, which we think may be the result of a run in with a car. We had our orthopedic surgeon look at his x-rays and the surgeon thinks that the leg has healed well. Bean does favor the leg occasionally. We think that may be the result of the pain he felt while healing, resulting in a slight weakening of the muscles in that leg. He visited a physical therapist who gave him some exercises to do to strengthen the leg.

Bean is neutered, he is up to date on his vaccinations (rabies, distemper and kennel cough), vet checked, heartworm tested negative and on preventative while in rescue, and microchipped. If you would like to meet Bean, go to www.cominischnauzerrescue,com and complete the on-line adoption application. We cannot set up a meet and greet appointment until we have a completed application. We suggest that you print a copy of the application after you finish it but before you hit the submit button, just in case! We will give you a call to set up a time to bring Bean for a visit. If you have completed an adoption application within the last 12 months, or have previously adopted from Vintage Dog Rescue and would like to meet Bean, please let us know.
