Banx<br/>Rat Terrier Cross<br/>Currently at vet office, needs a foster<br/>Lil & Banx are bonded, and they will be adopted out together.<br/>11 Years old<br/>18 lbs.<br/>Neutered<br/>Up to date on vaccines<br/>Heartworm Negative<br/>These 2 seniors need to find a home to live out the rest of their lives!! They were brought in to the vet office on 6/16/25 to be euthanized, because the owner was getting evicted. They are sweet, and seem to really look to each other for comfort & support. Our vet performed a full exam & they had bloodwork done. They are extremely healthy, except Lil has a very low grade heart murmur. They absolutely love humans of all sizes. They are great with other dogs. Be their hero & give them a soft place to land. Their adoption fee is $300 total.

Kane's Mission - Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy
The potential adopter would fill out an application. We would contact them, and have an initial phone interview. The next steps are to set up the home inspection, and perform reference checks, as well as reach out to their veterinarian to make sure that their current or previous animals were all kept up on vaccinations, monthly flea/heartworm meds, and that they were well cared for, medically. After the home inspection, we would set up a meet and greet with them. Sometimes more than one meeting is necessary, especially if they have other animals. Once approved, they would fill out and sign the adoption contract, and pay the adoption fee, and we would then deliver the animal to them.
