Bandit, Super Adult Sweetheart, He will keep you Laughing

Meet the Absolutely Adorable, hilarious and Stunningly dashing and huggable brindle boy, Bandit, the American Bulldog and Boxer Mix. He is 76 pounds and 4.5 years old. He loves to put his big head on your lap and get petted. He has 4 white paw, a white head and a white tipped tail. He has hilarious waddle and when he gets the Zoomies, it’s like a cartoon character. He sniffs everything. Very curious. We call it “snokeling”. He is a great supervisor of YOUR chores and follows you everywhere. He loves Men with Trucks so we think there was a Man and Truck in his past. He loves to go for car adventures with you and he loves to sunbathe. One day he wandered off and we went looking for him and flagged down a police car asking if they saw our dog and who is in the back seat with a big smile? Bandit! He was in heaven with the Police and driving around in their car! Will follow basic commands such as sitting and waiting for his meals. He’s a great Greeter of people coming to the house. He loves to hang out on the couch at TV time and spend the night there. He is a very sweet, lving, adaptable and very special guy who wants to share his silly antics and joy. He is frightened of thunder but calms down when his person is near. He’d be best in a home where is he not alone for long periods of time. He is an amazing and loving boy. He will need a secure fence doesn’t need a lot of property. He used to sit and watch the street and wait for the Amazon guy with me.<br/>He has a big wide head and chest with a stunning brindle coat. He loves to be with his person and follow you around. He does not have a mean bone in his body. He is loving, sweet, happy and bright. His silly antics will make you laugh.<br/>He’s a sensitive boy. He is crate trained but I never had to crate him he was fine being left with multiple dogs and 2 birds. He was cat tested did fine but that is always a serious protocol if you bring a new dog into a cat home. He is very polite in the home and is house trained and prefers being indoors unless it’s a sunny day. He likes to be six inches a way from you when you eat so he can watch you. He does get the Zoomies but it never lasts long. He can be stubborn so you just have to be firm with a deep voice no yelling at this boy. No fabric or box toys, he needs bones and kongs. Do not feed treats as he is too grabby so I just throw them on the ground. He does very well with a prong collar for your walks. He is not a big leash walker; he’s much happier hanging around the garden and sniffing there. If you want to leash walk, you might need to have a training session to get you both organized. Occasionally counter surfs, but never did it with me. He is a great companion! Ask for his videos. He is fostering in Rowayton CT with multiple dogs and 2 birds. Foster to Adopt option offered.
