Bambi Whippet & Terrier Mix Phoenix, AZ

Meet Bambi! Back in December this timid, tiny, tired, and homeless dog followed a volunteer for many, many blocks. It was not until she realized that this little doggie was homeless that she scooped her up. Skinny, hungry and with a body full of ticks, Bambi's life on the streets was no longer. She was safe now! Today Bambi is a shell of her timid self. She is full of confidence, loves to romp with her fur-siblings and is an expert snuggler. Bambi is absolutely adorable. But make no mistake, this cute pooch is very busy. She will thrive in an active home with a few kids and a few dogs! She loves to play, play, play and then she loves to snuggle her head on a lap. Bambi is young, not even a year. She will benefit from training and lots of exercise. Bambi is very unique looking, she has lanky legs that remind us of a whippet type dog. She is a mutt, a good looking mutt. We have introduced her to cats and she is NOT a good fit. We will not entertain applications with cats - she is not good with cats!
