Meet our rescued boy - Balto. App 4-5 y old and 60+ lb. He is neutered , up to date on his shots and microchipped.
Balto had gone through unimaginable. A homeless dog, brought into a rogue clinic to be used as a blood donor for private clients. Balto was tied to a shabby doghouse on a chain. No walks. No treats. Living in filth without decent shelter from Russian winters. Rotten oatmeal for food. The only time off the chain - is to give blood. Again and again. One day, his leg was caught in the chain, and he could not free himself. No one came to help him for two days. He yelped and cried in pain, but no one heard or cared. When they finally came for more blood, the damage was so severe, they amputated his leg. Balto is now a tripawd.

Balto is still a trusting, loving boy, full of dignity and devotion. He will be your loyal companion, and a true friend. Balto is looking for a very kind family to call his own - who understands his background and will have enough love and patience for this special soul.
