Bailey’s's Story

At 13 years old and just 12 Ibs, Bailey is a tiny senior girl looking for a calm, understanding home where she can enjoy life at her own pace.
Bailey can be a little standoffish at first, but she has sweet moments where she'll come ask for attention, want help getting onto the couch or bed, or quietly follow her people around the house. She enjoys affection on her own terms and prefers a peaceful environment where her boundaries are respected
Bailey appears to be deaf and does not respond to her name or loud noises, but that doesn't stop her from enjoying life. She enjoys having her own space but is tolerant of other dogs and kids.
She is mostly house trained but still needs supervision and consistency with potty breaks. Bailey has also made it very clear that she is not a fan of the kennel and would much rather sleep cuddled up in bed beside her humans.
Bailey is curious, independent, and mostly keeps to herself while quietly enjoying being near her people. She will need someone patient, compassionate, and understanding of senior dogs and their quirks. Bailey's perfect home would be calm, loving, and willing to let this little senior girl settle in at her own speed.
9 Based in Bryan, Texas.
