Meet Babe
Babe was brought in by the city. She was originally thought to have been recently hit by a car, but after x-rays, it was discovered her injuries were 6-8 weeks old. She had a broken pelvis and femur, but is almost healed. She has a limp and sometimes lifts her leg when she walks, but it doesn’t cause her any pain anymore! Babe is the sweetest dog! She loves all people she meets and is friendly with even strangers! Babe would need to meet any dogs in the home before going home, as she likes some dogs but not others. She is relatively calm most of the time and loves to sit on the couch and cuddle!
Every dog adopted from Green Hills Animal Shelter is fixed, wormed, has age-appropriate vaccinations, and is tested for heartworm (if old enough). Dogs from GHAS will also come with a starter bag of Hills Science Diet dog/puppy food to get you started!
