Meet Axel: 92 Pounds of Sweetness<br/><br/>Hello, there! I’m Axel, a handsome Great Dane Mastiff mix weighing in at a whopping 92 pounds. That’s a lot of dog—but I’m here to tell you that there’s an awful lot of sweetness packed into this big guy! I was born in late Oct of 2023. <br/><br/>Don’t let my size fool you. I’m actually a pretty shy boy, especially when I first meet someone new. I just need a little time to figure out that you’re a friend. Once I’m comfortable with you, I'm ready to play!<br/><br/>And once you become one of my people, I’m happy to show you my favorite side of all: the cuddly side! One of my favorite things is curling up next to my humans and enjoying some quality time together. Yes, I may weigh 92 pounds, but that doesn’t mean I don’t think I can squeeze in for a good cuddle!<br/><br/>I love people of all ages, including kids, and I’m dog friendly, too. I enjoy playing with other dogs, romping around, playing with my toys, and even a little roughhousing. I haven’t met a cat yet, though, so that’s still a mystery. If you have other furry friends at home, slow introductions will be important so we can make sure everyone is comfortable together.<br/><br/>I’m house trained, and I have plenty of energy to put to good use.
