Aurelio aka Leo is also one of our longer term fosters. We're not going to lie- teenage puppies, particularly male teenage pups tend to sit in foster longer and take longer to attract an adopter. He is currently in a temporary foster while his regular foster is on vacation and his temporary foster says: "He was super sweet!! Such an easy going guy. He did great in the car, and loved playing with our dogs. He is definitely potty trained! And didnt have any issues adjusting to a new place. He was overall just a great guest to have He loved to go outside and play but could also chill while I worked all day. I saw in his write up that it said maybe no cats (he tries to play too hard with his regular foster's cat), but he went right up to mine and had no issues eating her food with her standing there hissing at him worth more testing but didnt seem like he wanted to get her. But she does keep to herself. Chickens he was pretty interested in though. His regular foster said he does great with kids!"<br/><br/>Leo is estimated to be about a year old although, based on his puppy energy, we think he might be more in the realm of older puppy. He weighs around 40 lbs and has some puppy energy- he currently attends doggy daycare and does great. He needs a home with a family that will give him daily exercise and playtime and stimulate his smart puppy brain. He is a medium sized mixed breed boy- our best guess is English Setter mix- and deserves to find his forever family!<br/><br/><br/>If you think you might be interested in adopting Aurelio or just want to get pre-approved to adopt through us, please fill out an application on our website.
