Atkin's Story

When he first arrived, Atkin was emaciated, but he's gained 20 pounds and is now a healthy 75 lbs. At around 4 years old, he's the perfect mix of mature and playful.

He was gentle and affectionate with my three grandchildren (ages 5 and 11), happily leaning in for pets. He can get a little rambunctious during play and doesn't always realize his size, so some guidance is helpful.

Atkin is well-trained, well-behaved, and a grounded, loyal companion. He would likely do best as the only dog, and we're continuing to learn more about his dog socialization-more info coming soon.
