When he first arrived, Atkin was emaciated, but he's gained 20 pounds and is now a healthy 75 lbs. At around 4 years old, he's the perfect mix of mature and playful.<br/><br/>He was gentle and affectionate with my three grandchildren (ages 5 and 11), happily leaning in for pets.
