Astor's Story

Meet Aide, or brothers Astor and Anton! These sweet scruffy pups were found abandoned without parents on the streets of Puerto Rico. They were luckily taken in by one of our rescuers and raised to be loving sweet adorable pups. They have 2 rounds of vaccines including Bordatella and will be ready to fly in Dec. They are not expected to grow bigger than 35 lbs full grown. These sweet little babies are full of mischief and fun! Adoption fee is $395 Complete one of our online adoption applications today! Island Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

After completing our brief online application we will talk with you to learn more about you, your lifestyle and your ideal pet so that we can match you with the perfect dog or cat. We may request a virtual tour of your home or, in some cases, an in person tour. Meet and greets are done with the foster at a location agreed upon. After a successful meet and greet, you can choose to start a trial adoption that will last up to 5 days. After the trial adoption we will either finalize the adoption or return the animal to our foster program. We have a trainer and behavorist that are part of our volunteer team should they be needed to successfully transition your new pet into your home.
