FOSTER TO ADOPT - LOCAL ADOPTERS ONLY
ASHLEY was found at a local dump site in West Virginia a couple of days ago! How could anyone throw this sweet baby away?! Ashley is estimated to be around 5 months old and currently weighs 17 pounds. We suspect she's a Collie mix but aren't sure of her parentage.
While it takes all of thirty seconds for Ashley to warm up to someone, her tail never stops wagging, and she sneaks in kisses every chance she gets.
She currently has some skin issues due to fleas and was diagnosed with Demodex mange (non-contagious). After some good food, medication, and warm baths, her coat will be bright and shiny! She does just fine with baths and sits there looking dejected until it's over ;o)!
Ashley does very well with other dogs, doesn't seem to mind the cats, and appears to be crate trained.
While we're working on her house training, Ashley is still a puppy so will need continued training in her new home. She is very very food motivated so training her should be a breeze.
If you would be interested in fostering to adopt Ashley, please go to our website at www.rescueahart.org and fill out an online adoption application.
All HART dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines, including bordatella and rabies. They are heartworm tested and on preventative for heartworm, fleas, and ticks. If you are interested in any of our pets, you must complete an online dog adoption application at www.rescueAhart.org . The application will put you in touch with this wonderful dog's foster family so you can schedule a meeting. Thanks! www.rescueAhart.org
