Ashley Boston Terrier Mix League City, TX

Hi, my name is Ashley and I'm a tricolor (some Beagle mix maybe) Boston Terrier mix. I'm kinda short and 'cuddly', soft and kissy. I will probably be about 2--25 pounds when I'm grown. I love to play with all kinds of doggies and kitties and I'm great with big people and big calm kids. All of a sudden I have entered my 'shy' stage and I'm a little bit shy around young children. I'm more for the laid back kinda life. At home I'm rough and rowdy but when I'm with new people, I'm a little bit shy. It won't last long once you take me home; I'm just acting like a 3-year old little person when I meet new people. HeeHee - I'm just holding out for that quiet, relaxed family who will give me a chewie and let me lounge on the couch while we watch TV and read together. I will still want to go for walks too, but I think we could just walk, no need to get in an hurry and run - I'm not an athlete you know! I'm good using my puppy pads and I also like my puppy door to go outside and play or lay in the sun. Every once in a while I will just look at you and bark - I'm sassing you back. It makes my foster mom lough out loud because it seems like it is for no reason. I'm just saying - Hi! Take me home and I'll be your favorite snuggly bed buddy!

Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home.

Adoption fee for this dog is $175.

Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Clear Lake Petco, 2410 Bay Area Boulevard. All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas. Since all of our dogs are in foster homes, an individual dog may not be at our weekly Adoption Event due to conflict with a foster's schedule. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please send an email to pets2adopt@yahoo.com so that the Dog Coordinator can let you know if the dog will be at the Saturday Adoption Event at Petco.
