Arnold lives for the simple things: a sunny patch of grass, a good sniff (or 400), and the quiet satisfaction of existing near his people. He’s wonderfully easygoing and is the kind of dog who makes your home feel calmer just by being in it. He is like a weighted blanket with ears. <br/>Arnold a social guy too. Great with other dogs, respectful with cats, and polite enough to keep his kennel spotless because, frankly, Arnold considers himself a proper gentleman. He prefers his bathroom breaks outdoors like the refined soul he is. He’s currently working on leash manners and learning that not every smell requires a full investigative documentary, but he’s making steady progress. With a little patience (and maybe letting him read a few scent based novels along the way), Arnold is going to be an incredible walking companion. If you’re looking for a loyal, low key, slightly drooly best friend who doubles as home décor, Arnold is your guy! <br/><br/>ADOPTION INFORMATION<br/><br/>HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING: <br/>- Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. <br/>- Fill out an online application to adopt by clicking here: https://tinyurl.com/4yy3nz2d <br/>- We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord. <br/>- We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets. <br/><br/>Helpful reminders:<br/>*We do not do same day adoptions.<br/>*Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in. <br/>*We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.
