Meet Amazing Roscoe Jenkins
Roscoe Jenkins is currently being fostered in the suburbs of Portland and will be available for an in-person meet & greet following the completion of the application process. We do not set up meets prior to an application being completed.
Roscoe Jenkins is literally the SWEETEST puppy one could ever meet. Found dumped at a flea market in Houston (sadly not an uncommon occurrence) he made his way to the safety of rescue then caught a trip from TX to OR so he could meet his forever family.
Roscoe is some sort of Hound Mix - we aren't sure what the mix is, but he's going to be a BIG boy when he is done growing. He's just around the 4-5 month mark and already rolling in on the 30 lb mark. His ideal family is one that is prepared for all things that come with a big man in their lives, including proper diet and exercise and space for him to thrive.
Roscoe Jenkins is currently being fostered with kids and other dogs and is amazing with both. He would be great as an addition to another dog or as a solo guy as long as his family keeps up his socialization. Roscoe has not been tested with cats, but given his personality and general disposition, we can't imagine he'd have any issues living with
Roscoe is not a crazy active puppy, but he's still a young boy, so his family should be prepared for all things that come with puppies - including accidents in the house and maybe some hound dog singing as he adjusts from leaving his foster family and getting settled into his new life.
Roscoe has been fully vetted (vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, dewormed) and has been on flea and heartworm prevention. Roscoe is kennel trained, but could use a little work on his leash training.
