Meet Amazing Millie
**Millie is living with the rescue in TX and will be flown to her new family following the completion of her adoption process. Unfortunately, you will only be able to "meet" Millie on video chat prior to her adoption.
We have great reliable transport to the NE, but often the drop points are an hour or two out, if you aren’t able to drive to pick up, please flag that up in your application. We are tied to the transports drop locations and schedules.
Millie came into the rescue with a bunch of little puppies after living a pretty neglected life. But all of that changed in the care of her amazing foster family! Millie’s babies have all been adopted, and now it’s time for her to be a spoiled princess forever.
Millie is an ACTIVE girl who will benefit from daily exercise (a good walk, quick run, romp in the park) and will make a great running, biking, hiking, and life adventure partner. She loves to be outside soaking up the rays and then coming in for some solid snuggle time! Millie is currently being fostered with three other large dogs and two elementary/middle school-age children and does great with all of them. She’d be great as an addition to an existing pack or as a solo gal.
Millie’s stats:
~2 years old
Hound / Lab Mix
~65 lbs
Millie’s personality:
GREAT with other dogs
Fun and ACTIVE girl
Would be an amazing hiking / running / biking partner
Good with kids who know how to behave properly around pets
House, kennel trained, still needs some work on her leash training
Will LOVE a good adventure
Loves a car ride
Loves a good snuggle
A1 adventure partner status
Millie’s health:
Fully vetted
Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped
Low heartworm positive – has been started on slow-kill protocol and rescue will cover the costs for the remaining medication
On flea and heartworm prevention
