Amari's Story
FOSTER OR ADOPT AMARI!

Amari is looking for something pretty simple: someone to love with her whole heart.

Fostered in Lowell, Vermont, Amari is approximately 2 years old, 55 pounds, and believed to be a Carolina Dog/Labrador mix. She is a beautiful, affectionate girl with a big personality and an even bigger capacity for love.

Amari is a total love bug. She adores her people, loves to cuddle, and wants nothing more than to be included in everyday life. She's happiest when she can be close to the people she loves—whether that's heading out for a walk, going for a car ride, running around a fenced yard, or settling in for some quality time together.

She's already house trained, crate trained, and leash trained, and she's a good listener with solid recall and redirection skills. Amari is smart, responsive, and does well when she knows what is expected of her.

Amari can do well with larger dogs, although her current family feels she may be happiest as the only dog in her forever home. This girl absolutely loves having her people's attention and wouldn't mind being the center of someone's world! She should not live with cats because she will chase them.

Because Amari can get very excited, a home with older children would be the best fit. She's also sensitive to loud noises, which can frighten her, so she'll appreciate a family that understands her and can provide reassurance when the world feels a little too noisy.

Her ideal home will offer her consistency, daily activity, plenty of outdoor time, and—most importantly—the security of knowing that she's finally home for good.

Amari isn't asking for much. She just wants someone to choose her, love her, and let her love them right back.

AMARI AT A GLANCE

Female, approximately 2 years old
55 lbs.
Carolina Dog/Labrador mix
House trained
Crate trained
Leash trained
Loves car rides
Good recall and redirection skills
Enjoys running in a fenced yard
Can do well with larger dogs
Best with older children
No cats
May thrive as the only dog
Affectionate, cuddly and devoted to her people

Interested in fostering or adopting Amari?

Complete an application through Bruno Project Rescue.

Please share Amari's story.
