Weighing 13 pounds, she's the perfect size for someone looking for a small companion with a big heart.<br/><br/>One of the first things you'll notice about Amalie is her adorable build. She has short little legs and a long body, giving her a look that's reminiscent of a Dachshund. Combined with her beautiful parti coloring, she is truly one-of-a-kind.<br/><br/>Amalie came to us from a Wisconsin breeder and is now beginning her journey toward becoming a beloved family pet. Like many dogs from this background, she can be shy and cautious in new situations. However, every day she is making progress and learning that people can be kind.<br/><br/>One of the most rewarding things about Amalie is watching her confidence grow. She has recently started coming up to us on her own, a huge step for a dog who is still learning to trust.
