Alabama's Story

Meet Alabama!

Alabama is a 4-year-old Mini Goldendoodle with a gentle, quiet nature and an adventurous spirit. She walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys exploring the world around her. Because she loves adventure, she would do best in a securely fenced yard where she can safely satisfy her curiosity.

Alabama is a very quiet girl who has only barked a handful of times since coming into our care. She gets along well with other dogs she's met - she could be okay with another dog in her forever home or as an only dog. She would be best suited for a home with older children who can respect her gentle and somewhat timid personality. Alabama is an opportunist and wouldn't hesitate to run out an open door, her forever family will need to be prepared to gate doors especially in the adjustment period.

Alabama is still learning that the world is a safe place and can be quite fearful at times. She will need a patient family willing to give her the time, understanding, and encouragement she needs to continue building confidence.

She is making progress with house training and does go outside regularly to potty, but she is not yet fully housebroken. Alabama does not enjoy being crated and would do best with a family that can work with her using positive reinforcement and consistency.

With patience, love, and a predictable routine, Alabama has the potential to blossom into a wonderful companion for the right family.

She is spayed, UTD on core vaccines, and on heartworm/flea and tick prevention.

Zoe's House Rescue
Kennel License 9117
Reading PA 19608
