Meet Akon! This handsome 8 year old Pomsky is looking for a place to call home after losing his dad earlier this year. He is currently staying with family who love him very much but, sadly, they can not keep him.<br/><br/>Akon is a really sweet boy. He's happy hanging out with his human, going for walks and chewing on his favorite bone while watching a good show on TV..... while resting his head on their lap. :)<br/><br/>Akon is over 30 pounds now, but this gorgeous blue eyed boy has increased his daily steps so he can get back to his ideal 20 - 25 pound weight. A few less snacks and a few more carrots are helping as well. <br/><br/>If you are interested in hearing more about the beautiful boy and you live in the Tampa Bay, FL area, please be sure to include your phone number when you inquire so we can reach out to you.

No Dog Forgotten's Adoption Policy
We begin by asking any potential adopter to complete this online application - https://form.jotform.com/251455298587068. We will review the application once we receive it If we feel they may be an appropriate home, we will contact them via phone to discuss the pet they inquired about to ask and answer any additional questions. Great care is taken to discuss any on-going medical or behavioral support that may be needed in the home. If the potential adopter and our rescue feel it is a good fit, we conduct meet and greets between all family members and any other pets in the home. If these meet and greets go well, we will screen the household in person as a final step before completing the adoption. For dogs who will need continued medical or behavioral support, the vet or trainer may be included in one or more of these interactions to establish a relationship. Certain guidelines may also be included in the adoption forms.
