Aiden's Story
Meet Aiden!

- Age : 3 years old (DOB : 09/01/2022)
- Gender : Male (Neutered)
- Breed : Jindo & Welsh Corgi mixed
- Weight : 28.66lbs (13kg)
- Currently in.. San Diego, CA

Aiden was rescued from the Uljin local shelter in South Korea, where he spent a long and difficult time behind bars. During his days at the shelter, he witnessed many of his friends being taken away to a terrifying place, hearing their painful cries—only for them to never return. To escape this fear, Aiden would constantly hide behind a small doghouse in his cage, hoping that if he remained unseen, he wouldn’t be next. Despite his deep mistrust of people, a kind volunteer began visiting him, speaking in a warm voice and offering treats. Over time, Aiden gathered the courage to peek his head out just enough to say hello, earning him the nickname “Bbaekkom,” a Korean word for someone who peeks out shyly.

Thanks to the support of many kind hearts, Aiden was finally rescued and given a second chance at life. In his Korean foster home, he received the name Aiden and slowly began to realize that the world is no longer a scary place. This January, Aiden made the long journey to San Diego, California, to find his forever family. He is a charming "low-rider" with short legs, often compared to a Welsh Corgi, and has a personality that is remarkably calm, gentle, and independent—much like a well-mannered cat. Because of his peaceful nature, he is looking for a family that appreciates a quiet and mellow companion.

Aiden has excellent walking manners and is a true foodie, and he especially loves meat! While he can still be a bit shy around new people, his natural curiosity always keeps him lingering nearby. Since his foster caregiver in Korea was a young man, Aiden tends to feel particularly comfortable and relaxed around men. Once a terrified soul hiding in the shadows, Aiden has blossomed into a dog who truly knows how to love and be loved. He is now ready for a patient family who will move at his pace and give him the happy life he has always dreamed of.

*If you reside outside of CA state, an additional transportation fee may apply.
