Fred's fosterer writes...

Fred so wants a home of his own. Left by his owner at a fall spay/neuter event, Fred is a wonderful dog, about a year old with perfect manners and a gorgeous look.


Fred is deaf, but is so well behaved. He knows sit, come, and down (through hand signals) and he walks extremely well on lead. He's working on stay. He doesn't chew inappropriate items and he is house-trained. Fred gets along well with other dogs (oh so playful!) and is great with kids. He also rides well in the car and loves to go on rides with his people.


Fred's coat is creamy white with patches of fleshy pink skin showing through in places. He's like a pink and white valentine. Perhaps because he can't hear, Fred gets very attached to the people caring for him and does not do well when left alone a lot. He's working on crate training; he crates really well at night or will also sleep quietly by the side of the bed (and doesn't wake up barking at every little sound)! He also doesn't bark when strangers come to the door! A real plus!


And what a love he is. He snuggles and is so gentle. His temperament is excellent and he is so companionable. Everyone who meets him falls in love with him. He's very smart, quickly learning hand signals and such. Fred is up to date on his shots and is neutered and microchipped. Is he the dog you've been looking for?
