ADOPTED - Bella Pug & Chihuahua Mix Wooster, OH

Bella came to us from a rural Ohio pound. She weighs about 15 pounds and is about 3 years old. We think that she could be a Chug - Pug/Chihuahua cross.

Bella is a beautiful girl. She is crate trained, leash trained and house trained. She is very obedient, mannerly and very smart. Bell is good with other dogs and loves to play. She is fine with older child although at first a bit shy. Bella likes to ride in the car and is good to take into stores and on the downtown streets.

Bella is somewhat timid at first. I believe that she must have lived on the streets for a long time. When she was first in foster care she was afraid of being left outside but now uses a doggie door freely. She has been terribly hurt at some time in her life and a raised voice or a grab in her direction terrifies her. That being said, Bella is a doll in foster; so smart and engaging. She just needs a calm and quiet home that still wants a dog that LOVES to play.

Bella is a very quiet dog. She has barked one time. She does love to play with toys and play with the other dogs but is also very calm and reserved. Bella curls up in a dog bed to sleep at night and doesn't make a peep. Like most dogs it would be difficult for Bella to be left an 8 hour work day so she needs someone that works from home, can take a dog to work, works part time or is retired. Bella's adoption will also require another playful dog in the home and a fenced yard for her to run and play and be safe.
