Ace Labrador Retriever Holmdel, NJ

Meet Ace! He is approximately 8 months old and 60 lbs which means he still has some more growing to do! Ace's daily routines include a reenactment of the crazy antics in the move Marley and Me.

He is currently fostered with other dogs and LOVES to play. Dogs that are older and not interested in playtime will not do well with Ace. The world is his toy...he likes to think. Ace is also fostered in a home with children, he does well with older children but can knock smaller kids down with his puppy zoomies. He is house trained but does not do well in a crate. Ace is sweet natured and wants to please. He would do well with an experienced owner who can continue his training and help him with lab puppy-hood enrichment.

Please note: We know he's adorable but due to Ace's high energy, only homes with fenced in yards are being considered at this time. Thanks for understanding!


All of our dogs come spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, including rabies (if age appropriate) and bordetella, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. Please note that our pets come from shelters, so we CANNOT guarantee age, breed, mix of breeds, or adult size.

An application does not obligate you to adopt, and can be transferred to any pet. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the dog you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call ASAP.

We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where dogs can be seen during the week.
