Abbi Poodle Union Grove, WI

Hello, I'm Abbi! Over the past several weeks I've experienced what life is like outside of a cage and without the expectation of breeding puppies for someone else's profit. This has made me one of the most excitable pups in the world! I'm a 9lb, 9 year old female poodle with a beautiful apricot coat. I've recently been spayed, had my pearly whites cleaned, and received my vaccines. My foster mom will tell you that I act much younger than my age. I love to run, play and roll in the grass outside. Because I am a bit of a flight risk, a fenced in yard would most suit my needs. I will often spin in circles and dance, especially for treats. In fact, I will do almost anything for a treat!! During the time I have been in my foster home, I have learned that I really enjoy the love and snuggles that a human can give. I'm very comfortable with my foster humans, but I'm very skittish of new faces, adults and kids alike. Once I know you are safe, I will continually ask for pets and snuggles. Although I have made great progress in my foster home since transitioning from the breeding facility, I will need my new human to be patient as I continue on my learning curve. Going outside to go potty is a new concept, but I have been really trying hard and work even harder when offered treats! I'm not leashed trained....yet, but because I will follow my human anywhere, I am eager and quick to learn. I get along with other dogs and cats and blend well with a household.
