7946 Tyson's Story
Tyson is a 2.5-year-old Doberman who was surrendered because his owner travels frequently and felt they could no longer provide the stable environment he needs.

Tyson is a sweet, gentle boy who thrives in a quiet, predictable home. He can be shy when meeting new people and will often seek comfort by hiding behind his trusted person until he feels safe. Loud or sudden noises can be frightening for him, and his natural response is to run and hide rather than react aggressively.

Tyson loves other dogs and especially enjoys playing with his friend Hayzel, so he would likely do well in a home with a calm, friendly canine companion. He is happiest outdoors in a securely fenced yard where he can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet, much like the country setting he previously called home.

He walks well on leash, rides well in the car, is comfortable being left home alone, and does well for veterinary exams. Tyson has lived successfully with young children, older children, and adults. While he is affectionate with his family, he is not comfortable in busy social gatherings and would much rather spend his time in a peaceful environment.

Because Tyson is an anxious dog, he is looking for a patient adopter who will give him the time he needs to build confidence. A quiet home with a small family, minimal commotion, and a securely fenced yard would be ideal. He does not enjoy frequent travel and would prefer a home where life is calm and consistent.

If you're looking for a kind-hearted companion who simply needs understanding and a peaceful place to call home, Tyson may be the perfect match.
