Hello! I've been roaming around same neighborhood for over 6 months now. When people first started seeing me, I had on a collar, but then it disappeared. Thankfully, it did not get caught on something causing me to choke to death. No i.d. and no microchip. No one in the neighborhood knows where I came from and no one claims me.

There was a lady coming into the neighborhood trapping some other feral kitties and getting them cared for and fixed. I saw the traps a few times and smelled some good food, but I did not even want to get close to the traps. I often sat and watched the caretaker lady putting out water and food, and I would talk to her from a distance, but never go too close, wasn't sure I wanted her to touch me.

Then the lady who brought traps took the traps away and brought some other contraption. It was pretty big, and I was curious about it, so cautiously went a little closer. Then I smelled it -- warm rotisserie chicken. It looked like I could just go under this thing, grab some food, duck back out, and make a run for it. So, I went under, tentatively tasted the chicken (yum!), and then started chowing down. While I was totally focused on my found feast, suddenly, the thing came down around me, and I was ... trapped. No fair! I didn't recognize this one or know how it worked.

Now I have been neutered, rabies and fvrcp vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, had revolution applied, and gotten a left ear tip to show I have been through a TNR program for free-roaming community cats. The only thing left to do is get combo tested, and that will happen 5/18 Update: combo test done -- negative for both. The trapper lady, Miss Tana, kept me an extra day because of all the storms that were predicted for today, so she may take me to a vet tomorrow to have the combo test done before she takes me back to the neighborhood where I was trapped. She doesn't have anywhere to keep me inside as all 3 of her locations are full to the brim. But she wanted to at least show me on here in case someone wanted to do a trial adoption with me or maybe safely and securely foster me and give me some more socialization and responsible tlc one on one quality time and attention. The people who worked at the spay/neuter clinic even put a special note on my take-home paperwork saying I am "The Sweetest Boy!"
